CHARACTER INFORMATION
NAME: Caleb Danvers
CANON: The Covenant
AGE: 18
CANON POINT: Just after the end of the movie
BACKGROUND: Caleb’s page on the Covenant Wiki
INCENTIVE/FIT: Caleb wants his father back from the dead and his accelerated aging from use of the Power reversed so that they can actually have a relationship beyond Caleb dropping his medication off every so often. He’s the reason his father died, so he’s going to fix it and hopefully make things better for his family.
Caleb doesn’t have any particular hang-ups around touch or intimacy- he keeps secrets (like the fact that he’s a witch, which he’s unlikely to acknowledge publicly) but he makes friends and is obviously willing to get emotionally involved with people- like Sarah, who he quickly becomes very close with. He has his core group of friends (the other Sons of Ipswich and their hangers-on), but he’s obviously not opposed to reaching out beyond them. He even tries to befriend Chase.

A fight scene! Uh, incidentally, also a makeout scene I guess? Kind of?
ANYTHING ELSE? Caleb is a Son of Ipswich, aka a witch which means he has many poorly-defined powers. The powers he demonstrates himself in the film include telekinesis (powerful enough to throw people around and lift cars, with fine enough control to put a wrecked car back together perfectly), pyrokinesis, levitation, and calling lightning. Other witches demonstrate powers like teleportation, the ability to send images of the dead to haunt people, invisibility, summoning small animals to use as carriers for spells, and enhanced speed/strength, so it’s likely that Caleb has those powers as well, they just didn’t come into play over the course of the movie.
In terms of power level, Caleb is one of the two most powerful witches in his world after the death of his father, but we never see him affect any truly large scale targets. Keeping his power use reasonable for the setting shouldn’t be a problem.
